A simple list of my current Portable Apps

Although this list could help me remember the entire list of applications and the locations to download from in case of a non-working usb drive (eventually), one important aspect of applications running portably is that they configure themselves from .ini files in the application directory rather than registry key entries. IOW all application data is at as much risk of being lost or corrupted as the applications on the usb disk (flash).

The whole set of utilities listed above fits in about 400mb of space (including my data files and the foreign language translations). Depending on the tools you choose to run from your USB drive, the size occupied could be far less or just the same. The PortableApps platform or these applications in particular can be run from your hard disk as well, just in case you need the speed of the hard disk, but not the clutter in your Windows Registry.
